As part of 3rd Rashtriya Poshan Maah, Vadinar-based Nayara Energy as a responsible “neighbour of choice”, will be launching multiple programmes, under the aegis of Project Tushti that endeavors to make Devbhumi-Dwarka district under-nutrition free, a company release said.
“In 2019, Nayara Energy joined hands with the Government of Gujarat to launch Project Tushti, with the aim to improve the levels of nutrition in Devbhumi-Dwarka district contributing to the overall progress of the region. Through its implementation partners, the company is curating interactive content to generate awareness on aspects of nutrition required for pregnant and lactating mothers as well as sensitizing the local populace. The Company is planning to follow up awareness through extensive interpersonal counselling and home visits,” the release added.

Additionally, the Company is organizing pediatric camps at Vadinar to conduct a follow-up screening of underweight children and accordingly, provide required counselling during this camp using videos, banners, and other mediums.

Nayara Energy is installing health kiosks (mobile health ATM) at four health and wellness centres in the district. The health kiosks are enabled with e-clinic software providing details on demographics, complaints, medical and surgical history, auto health data analytics, and primary health screening to give an early diagnosis, treatment, and timely referral. The system is configured with a telemedicine system to support remote consultation with experienced physicians and specialists.
The Company also launched a training based mobile application for the benefit of about 1,500 frontline healthcare workers (FHWs), Anganwadi workers (AWWs), Auxillary Nurses Midwives (ANMs) within the region. The mobile application is a learning and sharing platform for these health workers and provides them with access to relevant videos, training, and interactive sessions.
