Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) here on Sunday paid tributes to state Agriculture Minister R Doraikkannu, who died in Chennai after battling COVID-19.
TNAU Vice-Chancellor N Kumar led officials and teaching and non-teaching staff in paying floral tributes to Doraikkannu, who was the Pro-Chancellor of the university in his capacity as the Agriculture Minister.
The condolence meeting is aaranged at Anna Auditorium on Monday (October 2, 2020) at 11.00 A.M. and all the TNAU staff spread over Tamil Nadu are requested to participate through Zoom link.
A condolence meeting would be held on Monday in memory of the Minister, who died on Saturday night at a private hospital in Chennai, a release said.
