Bajaj Finance Limited, National Fertilizers Limited, Network18 Media & Investment Limited, TV18 Broadcast Limited, Bajaj Housing Finance Limited, SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited, Axis Finance Limited, Aditya Birla Money Limited, ICICI Home Finance Company Limited, Standard Chartered Investments and Loans (India) Limited made applications to list Commercial Papers at BSE for total Issue Size of Rs. 7,185 crore. Post process, the effective date of listing for the same at BSE is January 06, 2020.
Till date 59 Issuers have done 381 issuances of Commercial Papers and have successfully listed CPs of Rs. 1,28,745 crore on BSE. The weighted average yield of these issuances is 6.09% with an average tenor of 132 days.
BSE is steering its efforts to help India Inc in raising funds. In F.Y. 2019-20, BSE’s Debt Platforms have enabled corporate India to list debt instruments worth Rs. 4,50,143.52 crore($ 63.10 billion) as on (January 03, 2020). Of this, BSE has successfully raised Rs 2,29,877 crore ($ 32.22 billion) with market share of around 60% via BSE BOND platform as on (January 03, 2020). This platform was launched in July 2016 and garnered fund raising of Rs. 9,36,340 crore ($ 131.25 billion) since inception.
