CHENNAI, JAN 5

The Governing council of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) has approved the player regulations for the upcoming TNPL 2020. According to the revised regulations, the teams can retain maximum number of 3 players subject to a maximum number of 2 players who have represented the Tamil Nadu in senior domestic tournaments, a release issued by TNCA Honorary Secretary R. S. Ramasamy said.

The teams were given time to announce their retention list till Sunday (January 5).

Fresh registrations for all Tamil Nadu players who have not been retained by the teams will begin on Monday (January 6). The registration forms are available at the office of the TNCCA and also at the official website www.tnca.cricket. Filled-in forms should reach the office of the TNCA before 6 p.m. on January 25, the release further said.

A retention list of 24 players (3 for each team) was also released along with the release.
