As a part of Republic Day Celebrations 2021, Air Force Station Jodhpur organized a display of military assets under the theme “Know Your Forces”, says a Defence release.
A host of military assets such as various aircraft, weapons, and missiles were displayed for the general public. One of the premier events of this celebration was an aero-modeling show consisting of six aircraft models, including Su-30, Rafale and remotely controlled helicopters. An aero-modeling contest was also conducted for the children and various prizes, including RC aero-model kits, were distributed to the winners, the release added.
The station has also planned motivational lectures through webinars for students of Air Force School and Kendriya Vidyalayas on the campus in the third week of this month. Students will be motivated for ‘Career opportunities’ in the IAF. An E-poster competition will also be conducted for school- and college students.
Air Commodore Prajual Singh, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jodhpur will give away the prizes to the winners of these competitions.
