The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal R.K.S. Bhadauria, PVSM, AVSM, VM, ADC visited the NCC Republic day Camp 2020, at Delhi Cantonment on Saturday.
The Chief of Air Staff, reviewed the spectacular ‘Guard of Honour’, presented by the smartly turned out cadets from all the three wings of the NCC – Army, Navy and Air Force.This was followed by a brilliant Band Display by the cadets.
The CAS also inspected the well laid out ‘Flag Area’, prepared by the cadets from all 17 NCC Directorates, depicting various social awareness themes.CAS was briefed by the cadets, on their respective models. Thereafter, the CAS visited the ‘Hall of Fame’, a proud possession of the NCC, with display of rich archival collection of alumni photographs, models, motivational and other visual delights of all the three wings of the NCC.
The Air Chief Marshal, along with other distinguished guests, later witnessed a spectacular ‘Cultural Programme’, by the talented cadets at the NCC auditorium.
Congratulating the cadets for their soldierly bearing, while on parade and a captivating cultural programme, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, lauded the stellar role played by this premier organisation in shaping the youth of our Nation, thereby enabling them to shoulder the responsibilities of building a strong Nation.
The CAS has assured the NCC cadets of the continued support of the Indian Air Force (IAF) in conduct of all their activities, a release from the Ministry of Defence said.
