Citing his party’s recent success in the Surat municipal polls in Gujarat, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said the AAP is the only party that is challenging the BJP in the country.

He was speaking at a roadshow in Seelampur ahead of the municipal by-elections here on Sunday.
The bypolls on five municipal wards in Delhi are being contested by the AAP, the BJP, and the Congress.
Seeking vote for his party candidate, Kejriwal said the Congress is drawing a “zero and it’s useless to vote for it.”
The AAP national convener also said his government has provided “zero power bills, good hospitals, and schools” in Delhi and asked people to vote for the party candidate in the municipal bypolls on Sunday.
Surat impact: Kejriwal’s security cover reduced, sources claim
Sources in the Delhi government alleged on Thursday that the security cover of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been scaled down, a charge denied by the Union Home Ministry.
“The development at the behest of the BJP leadership has come two days after the Aam Aadmi Party’s impressive performance in the Gujarat civic body polls,” a source claimed.
The number of commandos of the Delhi Police in Kejriwal’s security has now been reduced from six to two, the sources alleged.
However, officials at the Home Ministry said no such decision has been taken by it.
The AAP has won 27 seats in the municipal polls in Gujarat’s Surat, where the party convener will participate in a roadshow on Friday.
He will land in Surat at 8:25 am and then move to the Circuit House, At the airport, he will address the media along with senior party leaders.
Kejriwal will give a speech at 11 am at the Circuit House also meet the media.
He will take part in the AAP Surat’s 7-km-long roadshow which will start at 3:30 pm from Mangarh Chowk and ending at Takshila Complex, Varchha Road. The roadshow will culminate with Kejriwal’s address, says an AAP release.
