Lieutenant General PS Minhas, General Officer Commanding, Konark Corps on Friday visited Golden Katar Division in Ahmedabad. This was the first visit of Lieutenant General PS Minhas to Ahmedabad since taking over the command of Konark Corps, a Defence release said.
The General Officer was briefed by Major General VK Sharma, General Officer Commanding, Golden Katar Division about the Operational Preparedness and Combat Readiness of the Formation. The General Officer was also briefed about various ideas and innovations as conceptualized by Golden Katar Division to enhance the fighting capability of troops in desert terrain.
Lieutenant General PS Minhas praised all the troops for their commendable efforts and out-of-the-box thinking. He exhorted all ranks to work in synergy, train hard and remain combat ready at all times in service to the Nation, the release added.
