Women of Excellence Awards Season 2 was organized here on Sunday in collaboration with AGIL, Positive Jindagi, American Corner, Rentio, Raho Safe, Zydus Hospitals, and Vedant International Pre School. Over 40 women activists and COVID warriors were honoured at this event, the organisers said.
Every year on 8th March, International Women’s Day is celebrated. In this event, more than 40 women participated in different fields.
As part of the Women of Excellence Awards Season 2 all women enthusiastically participated in four activities such as Traffic Safety, Animal Welfare, My Heart is Green, and Community Service. The first activity was on Traffic Safety in which Ila Gohel and Kanksha Vasavada were the winners, then in the second activity that was about Animal Welfare were Rakhi Shah, Harsha Shah and Moumita were the winners, the third activity which was on My Heart Is Green in which Malti Mehta, Anurita Rathore and Apurba Sen were the winners and at last and fourth activity which was on community service were Uma Raman and Sheetal Dave were the winners.
In this Women’s of Excellence Awards Season 2, 15 to 18 women from different fields of the city were honoured as COVID Warriors. As part of this event, all women participated and decided that they will hold hands together and will help each other to grow in life and society.
