AHMEDABAD, APRIL 1
Air Marshal SK Ghotia, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command, Indian Air Force visited the Air Force Station at Uttarlai in Rajasthan on Tuesday. He was accompanied by Nirmala Ghotia, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional). They were received by Group Captain AP Singh VM, Station Commander, Air Force Station Uttarlai and Akanksha Singh, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local, says a release.
The AOC-in-C was presented with a ‘Guard of Honour’ on his arrival. He was briefed about the current operational readiness, prevailing security scenario and preparedness of the Station. He inspected various operational aspects of the Station and reiterated the crucial role that the station plays in safeguarding the western borders of the nation.
Air Mshl complimented personnel for their battle readiness & emphasized on efforts required to overcome modern security challenges.
