People looking to get vaccinated, can book slots using Apollo 24|7 App and select the nearest Apollo vaccination centre. The App provides real-time information to enable the user choose from their preferred time slots to reduce wait times and lines.
To enable maximum number of people to get vaccinated, Apollo’s mega vaccination drive is being held from 7 am to 7 pm, at three different locations in Chennai including Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram School, Zion Matriculation School and Apollo Specialty Hospitals Vanagaram thereby enabling everyone to choose a slot as per their convenience.
Apollo has also trained over 10,000 staff across India in safe vaccination protocols to ensure a seamless experience at all the vaccination centres.
Ms. Preetha Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Group, said, ”Vaccination is our life line in this Pandemic, none of us are safe until everyone gets vaccinated. New strains are getting reported in our country and vaccination is the only way to stay safe. Mass vaccination should be the top priority in India. This drive will enable to reach the maximum number of people across India.”
Apollo has so far administered over 2.1 million vaccine doses in the country till date and is the largest private vaccinator. Based on the response of this mega camp, Apollo centers will continue the vaccination camps, she added.
