Kabir Bedi’s recently released book, Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Life Of An Actor, has done incredibly well. It has garnered a lot of positive feedback and has become a best-seller. With his heartfelt autobiography, Kabir, who has had a magnificent career as an actor spanning three continents, has turned into an author this year. This week Kabir Bedi had a question-and-answer session on his book with the incredible women’s of FICCI FLO (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, FICCI Ladies Organisation) belonged to six chapters – Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Kanpur, Chennai, and Indore. It was an online session take place on 30th June which was blessed by 300 plus women of the six-chapter.
As Kabir bares his soul, the stories come tumbling out. That first magical encounter with The Beatles as a student in Delhi. The sudden move to Bombay, away from home, friends, and college. His exciting years in advertising, his extraordinarily successful career abroad, and his many painful setbacks. The book has tumultuous stories set in Hollywood, Bollywood, and Europe. He also tells the fascinating love story of his Indian father, a philosopher in Europe, and his British-born mother, the world’s highest-ranked Buddhist nun. The book also talks about spirituality, the experience Kabir has had in his life.
The conversation with Kabir Bedi took a surprise turn when his wife Parveen Dusanj came in and sat with Kabir for a rapid-fire round planned by the moderators Meetu Kohli of Indore Chapter and Radhika Gupta of Ludhiana chapter. While sharing the essence of his book, all the six-chapter women asked questions to Kabir Bedi and he politely answered them all.
