To realise the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to produce world class products under the Make In India initiative, Quality Mark Trust has conducted the tenth edition of the ‘Quality Mark Awards’ in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.
35 companies and individuals from 35 different sectors like infra, hospitality were selected by a panel of eight juries and honoured with trophies and citations..
Gujarat Ministers Kaushikbhai Patel and Kunwarjibhai Bawliya were present as Chief Guests while Guests of Honour were Kiritbhai Solanki, Member of Parliament; Ider MLA Hitu Kanodia & Mehmedabad MLA Arjunsinh Chauhan. Dilip Sanghani of Rashtriya Sahakari Sangh Bharat, BJP Mahila Morcha State President Dr. Deepika Sarvada and State BJP Yuva Morcha former president Dr. Rutvij Patel were also present as Distinguished guests. Bollywood Stars Asrani and Bhumi Trivedi added vibrant colours to the event as Special Guests.
Speaking with the media, Quality Mark Trust president Hetalbhai Thakkar, said, “Encouraged by the overwhelming response to the last nine editions of ‘Quality Mark Awards’, and to realise the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to produce world class products under the Make In India initiative we are holding this tenth edition. This year’s competitions were very tough as more than 800 entrepreneurs from 18 states have participated to find a place of pride. Apart from the industry, woman entrepreneurs, including a 13-year-old girl, and individuals associated with the service industry have also participated in the ‘Quality Mark Awards’.”
When asked about the number of awardees from Gujarat, Thakkar replied that 15 to 20 of them are either from Gujarat or Gujaratis doing business in other states.
According to Bhai Bhai Fame, Arvind Vegda, who is associated with the organization, “COVID vaccine certificate has been made mandatory for all guests keeping the safety of all stakeholders and only 100 persons have been invited for the Award ceremony. The Quality Mark Award will be broadcast on VTV News and the organization expresses its Special thanks also to Top FM for their contribution.”
