The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ Tuesday to mark the significance of the language. IITGN community members, including students, employees, and their family members, joined virtually to participate in the celebration, says a release.
Tripurari Kumar Sharma, a popular Urdu poet and lyricist, also participated in the celebration as a guest and presented some of his notable works.
The event witnessed enthusiastic performance by the participants, who recited Hindi poems, dohavali, presented mono acts, and expressed their thoughts on the occasion.
