Bhupendra Patel-led Gujarat government has allowed Shri Garba with a limit of 400 persons and also eased curfew timings in eight major cities by one hour, says a release.

Accordingly, with effect from September 25 to October 10, curfew will start at midnight and end at 6 am.

The decision in this regard was taken by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and MoS for Home Harsh Sanghavi in Gandhinagar on Thursday.

Now, festivals like Navratri, Vijaya Dashami and weddings can be celebrated with a limit of 400 persons inside the society. However, all corona SOPs have to be maintained.

Restaurants can remain open till 10 pm against earlier 9 pm with 75 percent capacity which was 60 percent earlier.

Likewise the limit for funeral processions has been increased from 40 persons to 100 persons.

Parks and public gardens will remain open till 10 pm during this period.

However, no commercial garba will be allowed in party plots.
