The shoot for ‘Naane Varuven’ directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu and starring Dhanush and Bigil fame actor Indhuja Ravichandran in the lead roles started on Saturday with a Pooja.
Dhanush is taking a new avatar in this much-awaited movie the poster of which was released on Saturday. The poster has created much buzz as Dhanush is seen wearing a cowboy hat and letter jacket in the image. Smoking a cigar, the actor strikes a serious look. Unveiling the poster, the makers also revealed that the shoot commenced on Saturday.

Naane Varuven was initially slated to go on floors in August, but the shooting was delayed since Dhanush reportedly had other commitments. Dhanush and Selvaraghavan will be teaming up nearly after a decade.
The film is helmed by Dhanush’s brother, filmmaker Selvaraghavan. Bankrolled by Kalaippuli S Thanu of V Creations, Naane Varuven has music by popular composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. .
Bhuvan Srinivasan is editing the film while Yamini Yagnamurthy is behind the lens. RK Vijay Murugan is the art director.
