Air Force Station, Bhuj on Sunday, National Unity Day, announced that it has organized a 7.5 km ‘Unity Run’ to mark the celebration of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’, says a release.
The event was flagged off by Air Commodore Maluk Singh, Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Air Force Station, Bhuj in the presence of other senior officers of the Station. Around 700 Air Warriors, NCs (E), DSC Personnel and their family members participated enthusiastically in the event carrying placards and banners with slogans and messages promoting the importance of national unity.
Later, the AOC gave away medals and certificates to the winners in various categories and the event concluded with a motivating speech addressed to all the participants.
