AHMEDABAD, DEC 10
Dietary compliance is a challenge in Type II diabetes mellitus (T2DM) management majorly due to leptin resistance. Using the Panchkarma method given in Ayurveda, type 2 diabetes can be completely cured.
Ayurved major Madhavbaug’s research paper titled ‘Ayurveda & Dietary Modification for T2DM Management’ has been approved and published by Ayurveda JAPI (Journal of the Association of Physician of India) in its September 2021 issue, claimed senior officials of Madhavbaug at an event to honour diabetic patients who had win over it here.
Over 1,500 patients of Madhavbaug have overcome diabetes and even after three to four years their body blood sugar is normal and they are living life without medicines. Every year, Madhavbaug celebrates the success of its patients who conquer their health conditions. Nine such patients were honoured in Ahmedabad.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Rahul Mandole, Head of Research & Development Department of Madhavbaug, said, “The basic objective of celebrating the Victory Function is to create awareness among the growing number of diabetic patients because it is now proved that the type 2 diabetes is completely reversible, and the patients do not need to spend the rest of their lives using medication and insulin or following a certain diet. Bringing patients who have successfully conquered diabetes and have them narrate their experience to the others who are still suffering from the condition, can motivate them to undergo the treatment and live a healthy and free life.”
“Madhavbaug believes in evidence-based practice. Our research papers that contain valuable scientific evidence have already been published in various national and international journals. The International Journal of Innovative Research in Medical Sciences, International Journal of Diabetes and Endocrinology, European Journal of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the European Journal of Pharmaceutical and Medical Research are a few of the many renowned publications that have featured our work,” added Dr Mandole.
Dr. Sadik Khan, Zonal Medical Head, Madhavbaug, Gujarat honoured nine patients who conquered diabetes 2 at the function.
Dr Khan attributed this success to Madhavbaug and its team which stood firmly with its patients. The doctors guided each patient throughout their treatment. With such astounding successes, Madhavbaug’s goal of making India a diabetes-free country is not too far.
