The Border Security Force (BSF) nabbed a Pakistan national after he intruded in to the Indian territory near the International Border (IB) in Kutch, a BSF official said on Tuesday.
The intruder was identified as one Ahmed Dilawar Khan (38) resident of Shahnawaz Bhutto colony Karachi north in Pakistan.
According to the official, he was nabbed by the patrolling team near the border pillar close to Vagad area under Balasar police station of Rapar taluka of Kutch district on Monday.
“The Pakistani national was apprehended when he tried to enter India near Dholavira on Monday night. He was held from near the border pillar number 1024 by the BSF patrolling team. He appears to be a drug addict,” Inspector General, BSF, Gujarat Gujarat Frontier, G S Malik said.
He was handed over to the Balasar police, the official added.
PI Balasar police station BJ Parmar said that detailed interrogation of the arrested Pakistan national would be done in the joint interrogation center.
He refused to divulge the details of recovery from him.
Further investigation was underway, police added.
