Principal Commissioner of Customs KR Uday Bhaskar on Thursday launched Taxpayers Facilitation Centre at New Custom House, Air Cargo Complex, Meenambakkam, Chennai, says a release.
As a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” (AKAM), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) is dedicating 75 Taxpayer Facilitation Centres (TFC) across 70 cities all over the country. TFC is established as local help desk to assist the taxpayers with information as well as hand holding assistance.

All importers, exporters and other stakeholders are requested to avail the services of this TFC to answer their queries and redress the grievances, if any, according to a press release issued by Leo John Ilango, Additional Commissioner of Customs, Chennai Aircargo Customs.
