To educate-empower-enlight young minds of the Sindhi community and to promote Sindhu Sanskriti, Bharatiya Sindhu Sabha, the largest Sindhi community organization in India, is set to organize the first Global Sindhu Summit (GSS) 2022 on Sunday, April 10, 2022 in Ahmedabad.
State BJP president CR Patil will inaugurate this gala event whereas Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel will be the Chief Guest along with other prominent dignitaries.
This one-day worldwide summit will be held at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), Bhat, Ahmedabad, and will see the participation of Sindhi businessmen, industrialists, entrepreneurs, and professionals from 10 countries. GSS will have a business conference, exhibition, Sindhi folk festival, and Sindhi food festival. More than 15,000 visitors and 600 delegates are likely to visit the summit.
Elaborating the details about the summit, Nikhil Methiya, Youth President, Bharatiya Sindhu Sabha, and Co-ordinator, Global Sindhu Summit said, “For the first time in India, such a large scale summit for Sindhi community is being organized and we are proud that Ahmedabad is going to be the host for the event. This day is very special to us as Sindhi community every year celebrates April 10 as ‘Sindhi Language Day.’ With this summit, we wish to achieve socio-economic empowerment, value-based education, community welfare, the practice of compassion, the spread of global friendship, and the spiritual uplift of fellow beings. We have come up with this huge platform so that youngsters from even middle class family of Sindhi community can be ‘Atmanirbhar’. If a youth becomes financially independent so will the society and later the whole country”.
Global Sindhu Summit 2022 will have four major programs throughout the day of the event. Sindhu Business Conference will see the participation of more than 600 delegates to learn from speakers across the globe. Topics like Start-ups, MSME, Digital Marketing, Business Loans, and New skills required for a business will be covered by the eminent speakers.
Top Business personalities and professionals from across the country will reveal the secrets of their success to motivate and inspire the youth to the path of success and prosperity. Popular influencers on Instagram like Bhagyashree Daryani, Nikhil Jagiasi, Nick (Thukka Tai), Raj Rohra, Nikhil Chandwani, Raveena Tekwani, Mansi Luhana will also be present for the event.
Along with this, Sindhu Business Exhibition will be organized where around 80 businesses will exhibit their businesses. The exhibition will serve as a platform to connect the Sindhi community to new areas and opportunities in business so that the youth can join them and become self-reliant and help them start or grow a business. This Summit will make Sindhi youth Job Giver instead of Job Seeker. Around 15,000 visitors are expected for this event. A Sindhi folk festival showcasing India’s ancient Sindhu culture will also be exhibited.
The Sindhi Food Festival will satisfy the taste-buds of foodies with lip-smacking Sindhi dishes like Dal-Pakwan, Bhasar Koki, Kadi-Chawal, Bhi, Chillo, Chap Chhola.
