The English department students of PKR Arts College for Women have organised three-day Adivasi Expo on their college campus in Gobichettipalayam, Erode district. It was inaugurated by Erode district collector H Krishnanunni on Tuesday.

The expo was conducted from April 5 to 7 in the UG Conference Hall.

The District Collector appreciated the students for taking up the concept, Adivasi Literature. He was surprised by the efforts of the students in the process of regenerating the organic lives. The District Forest Officer R Kiruba Shankkar applauded the students for their spirit towards recalling, recoloring, remembering and reminding the pioneer lives of the earth. He has suggested us to learn some of the practices, cultures, food habits and physical fitness from the tribes.

The exhibition targeted to bring out the tribal life, tribal dance, tribal parade, food and culture into the light. Their enriched color has been shown with different strokes by the students with spirit. Every model of the exhibition has taken the road to recall the flavor of Adivasis.
