The Railway announced that Abhai Kumar Rai, Commissioner of Railway Safety, Southern Circle, Bangalore has conducted the statutory inspection of Valliyur – Aralvaymoil section doubling with electrification completion on Thursday.
Tarvelling in a trolley, Rai also inspected all small and big bridges, railway gates. He inspected the rail signal systems at Valliyur, Panagudi and Aralvaimozhi railway stations.
The inspection commenced at 8:45 am and ended at 1:45 pm.

During the course of inspection, Railway Infrastructure Department Chief Executive Officer Prafulla Verma, Rail Vikas Nigam Principal Planning Managr Kamalaga Reddy and Thiruvananthapuram Railway Divisional Manage Mukund accompanied Rai.
Further, he will conduct speed trial between Aralvaymoil and Valliyur section. The CRS will conduct the speed trial in Aralvaymoli and Valliyur section between 4:30 pm and 7:45 pm on Friday.
Public and residents in the vicinity are cautioned not to approach or cross the track during the speed trial o¬n the day mentioned.
