AHMEDABAD, APRIL 29
Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Ltd, an SPV of Govt. of India & Govt. of Gujarat, on Thursday announced that a 3-car train has been moved from Apparel Park through the tunnel to the elevated East-West Corridor for commencing trials from Thaltej to Old High Court in the city.
The trials will include static and dynamic testing of this train in the section so as to ensure its readiness for passenger service in all aspects, including safety, says.
The start of the first phase services will coincide with Amrut Mahotsav, which celebrates 75 years of Independence in August this year.
