After a long hiatus, ‘Kaduva’, a mass action film, starring Prithviraj and directed by Shaji Kailash will be released in July.
The film is co-produced by Supriya Menon on behalf of Prithviraj Productions and co-produced by Magic Frames List Stephen. Jinu Abraham has written the screenplay and script for the film, which stars Vivek Oberoi and many others, including Samyukta Menon.
The film will be released in all South Indian languages. The film’s promotion and press meet was recently held at the Green Park Hotel in Chennai.
The film crew was accompanied by renowned Tamil filmmaker RP Chaudhary, VTV Ganesh, actors Arya and Jeeva, producer and distributor Kopuram Films Anbuchelian and Telugu filmmaker and distributor Tirupati Prasad.
Speaking on the occasion, Prithviraj said, “Films are constantly being released in Malayalam cinema with a fresh storyline. At the same time, it has been a long time since the release of a mass action film.
Although the film was launched two years ago, it has come to this place after overcoming various dangers such as corona impact and flood damage. It will definitely be a movie that fans will enjoy whistling in the theatre.”
Prithviraj answered questions on Indian films, overseas rights and the changing genre.
The film is based on the story of Kuruvachan Jose, a tiger who became famous many years ago and is still alive.
Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who played the villain in Prithviraj’s first directorial venture ‘Lucifer,’ is again co-starring with Prithviraj in the lead role as a police officer.
Kaduva is a film that has been co-produced by director Shaji Kailash and Prithviraj almost ten years later.
Other stars include Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Dileesh Pothan, Aju Varghese, Sudev Nair, Saikumar, Arjun Asokan, Seema and many more.
Music is composed by Jakes Bejoy while cinematography by Abhinandhan Ramanujam and Editing by Shameer Muhammed. Mohandas handles Production design.
