AHMEDABAD, JULY4
NCC cadets of Ahmedabad Group of NCC Directorate Gujarat Dadra Nagar Haveli Daman and Diu in association with Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (SRFDCL) organized a tree plantation drive at Riverfront, Ahmedabad on Saturday. Over 1,000 saplings were planted by 347 NCC cadets and the Riverfront employees.

The function was graced by Major General Arvind Kapoor, Additional Director General, NCC Directorate Gujarat Dadra Nagar Haveli Daman and Diu and Keshav
Verma, the Chairman of SRFDCL.
The Chairman Keshav Verma complimented the NCC cadets for whole-heartedly participating in the plantation drive to make the entire Riverfront lush green.
Major General Arvind Kapoor encouraged the cadets to actively participate in future plantation drive and nurture the saplings planted. The NCC cadets pledged to plant more trees to contribute towards better environment.
