Over 1,300 frontline staff of Thiruvananthapuram Division of Southern Railway have undergone Mission Rail Karmayogi Training programme, said Divisional Railway Manager R Mukund here on Friday.
Mission Rail Karmoyogi training programme, an initiative under the National Program for Civil Service Capacity Building (NPCSCB), concluded in Thiruvananthapuram Division on Friday. Training was imparted for 1,309 frontline staff comprising Ticket Examiners, Booking Clerks, Station Masters etc. across the division.
- The Indian Railway Institute of Transport Management, Lucknow trained 16 staff of the division as Master Trainers for Mission Rail Karmayogi.
- Divisional Railway Manager R Mukund appreciated the effective implementation of the programme with participation of nearly 100% frontline staff.
The Mission Karmayogi Programme aims to enhance public servants’ service capacity to improve the quality of the citizen-government interface to meet passengers’ aspirations. The Indian Railway Institute of Transport Management, Lucknow trained 16 staff of the division as Master Trainers for Mission Rail Karmayogi.
From 12th May, 2022, the Master Trainers frequently conducted two-day training programmes at Thiruvananthapuram Central and Ernakulum Junction stations to cover all the frontline staff. The frontline staff (Commercial Department – 995 and Operating Department – 314) received live interactive training supplemented by Course Materials, Case Studies, and enlisting to Integrated Government Online digital platform for continuous up-gradation of skills.
The valedictory function for the Master Trainers of Commercial and Operating Staff, held in Railway Divisional Office, Thiruvananthapuram on Friday. In his presidential address, Divisional Railway Manager R Mukund appreciated the effective implementation of the programme with participation of nearly 100% frontline staff.
P T Benny – Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Jerin G Anand – Senior Divisional Commercial Manager; A Vijuvin – Senior Divisional Operations Manager, and MP Lipin Raj – Senior Divisional Personnel Officer attended the function.
