Air Vice Marshal MV Rama Rao, Senior Air & Administration Staff Officer, Headquarters Maintenance Command, IAF visited the Air Force Station Avadi for three days from Wednesday to Friday.
Air Vice Marshal MV Rama Rao was received by Air Commodore S Sivakumar, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Avadi.

The Air Marshal inspected various works sites, sections and assessed the preparedness of the unit for any eventuality. He interacted with air warriors during the course of his visit. The Air Marshal appreciated the professionalism and zeal of the personnel and expressed his satisfaction on the steps taken by Station authorities towards improvement of quality of life, skill development, sports, health and well being of personnel and their families.
The Air Marshal complimented all the Station personnel for upholding high professional standards in Logistics Management, Maintenance and Administration as well as in Training.
