The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is celebrating ‘Hindi Week’ from September 16 to 22 this year to mark the significance of the Official language.

As a part of this celebration, the Hindi cell and Cultural Council of IITGN organised a cultural programme on September 16 and a Song Translation event was conducted on September 20, 2022.

IITGN community members, including students, faculty, staff, and their family members, enthusiastically participated in the events and showcased their love for the Hindi language through recitation of poems and songs, presentation of mono-act in Hindi, and translation of popular songs in Hindi. Participants were also presented gifts as encouragement.

The Institute has also planned a Hindi Debate programme with students and community members on September 22.
