To attract and motivate the youth of Gujarat to join Indian Air Force as a career, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat will inaugurate “Know Your Air Force” exhibition in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
Under the aegis of Headquarters South Western Air Command, Indian Air Force is organizing an exhibition – “Know Your Air Force” – at SWAC Communication Flight (Near SVBP International Airport), Ahmedabad from Saturday to Monday, October 1 to 3, 2022.
The aim of conducting the exhibition is to familiarize people of Gujarat with the role and functions of the Indian Air Force.
Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh reviewed the working of the seven defence companies, carved out of erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), at a meeting organised in New Delhi, today marking the completion of one year of their operations.

The exhibition will essentially comprise display of significant assets of Indian Air Force like aircraft, missiles, weaponry systems, radars etc. Apart from these, Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (specialist vehicle having insight of the Indian Air Force) and a Flying Simulator (a gaming console on aircraft flying) will also be made available for the visitors. Additionally, the Air Force Band will perform on all the days of the event, the statement added.
