Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa on Thursday announced the appointment of two of the most proficient and longtime serving professionals from the industry Deva Kumar & Arokyadas Maimarulla for collaborating food and beverage operations.

Deva Kumar, Executive Chef joins us with a combined working experience of 17 year with great knowledge, skills & innovation while working with multiple brands in the industry such as The Oberois, InterContinental Hotels Group, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, The Park Hotels. Chef Deva hails from Ranipet a small town near Chennai, and having worked extensively in Chennai as a seasoned leader in culinary, we are assured that he will bring a whole new spark to the Resort Food & Beverage.

Arokyadas Maimarulla, Director of food and beverage comes with an extensive 14 years of working experience, starting his career from his birthplace Goa to working in multiple cities and international brands across India, Arokyadas is great talent with multiple awards under him and winning the “person of the year” in Accor South Asia Awards 2016 for his immense contribution towards the food and beverage operations. With his vast amount of experience and knowledge and with the whole food and beverage operations under him, we believe our guest experience will elevated to the next level.
