Thank God, a fantasy comedy movie, also stars Ajay Devgn, and is scheduled for release a day after Diwali.
On Thursday, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh visited the recently opened signature luxury Mukta A2 Cinemas six-screen multiplex at The Retail Park in Bopal to promote their movie Thank God.
The stars received a grand welcome from a large number of fans and film lovers who were present to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars. The actors were happy to spend some time with their fans and happily posed for cherished selfies and pictures with them.
In the trailer, Ajay Devgan, who plays Chitragupta, is seen in a mythological avatar wearing a crown, wearing a dhoti, while he is in the hospital after Sidharth Malhotra’s accident. In this, Ajay, who became Chitragupta, is seen playing a game with Siddharth in Yamlok.
The funniest part of this trailer is that Chitragupta turned Ajay says that the basic idea of KBC, the popular television quiz game show in the country, is Yamlok which Bachchan ji has brought down. After coming in the modern avatar, Ajay tells Siddharth that he will play a game with him. On which Sid’s amazing reaction comes out, he says that the game shows have started even above Kamal Hai. After this Ajay Devgan says, “First started from above. You are the superstar, he came here for a long time, won the game and just left. Only after playing here he started his game by going downstairs. What would he say? Is him…” On this the messenger standing with him says – KMC sir, then Siddharth tells Ajay Devgan the correct name that the name of the game is KBC.
Interacting with the media, both the stars were very down-to-earth.
To a query on Karma, both Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh affirmatively said, “All Indians believe in Karma, a full circle. What we pay will come back to us in multifold. Hence, as far as possible we should perform good deeds.”
Incidentally, Sidharth’s first film was released 10 years ago in October and by coincident ‘Thank God’ comes after post-pandemic in October to entertain his fans in this comedy film.
This film is directed by Indra Kumar. The film was earlier scheduled to be released in theaters on July 29, 2022, but now its release date has been changed, after which the film will now be released in theaters on October 25 this year on the special occasion of Diwali. This is the first time that Ajay and Siddharth are going to be seen together on the big screen.
The Mukta A2 Cinemas multiplex at The Retail Park, Bopal, can accommodate up to 547 guests in luxurious seating with recliners and sofas. It is also equipped with Harkness 3D screens, 2K laser projector & surround sound, ensuring the best & immersive movie experience for the audience.
