In observance of World Hepatitis Day, Gleneagles Health City Chennai, a leading multi-Speciality quaternary healthcare centre in Chennai organised walkathon on Sunday in Chennai aimed at raising awareness about hepatitis and healthy Liver. Top Star, Actor Prashanth flagged off the walkathon from Island Grounds, Chennai. A special warm-up session organised at the venue by professional trainers before commencing the walkathon.

Over 1000 people of various ages and from various demographics participated the walkathon and displayed banners with slogans and other awareness material on hepatitis and messages on how to keep liver Healthy. The Walkathon seeks to educate the public on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of hepatitis, as well as support those living with the disease.
