Ahmedabad Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on Tuesday announced that 11 students from the state made it to the All-India Top 50 in the CA Final and Intermediate exams held in November 2022. Thus Ahmedabad posted 15.39 percent results, which was higher than the national average of 11.09 percent.

These include five from Ahmedabad, Surat-4 and Vadodara-2.

Ahmedabad students in the Top 50 include Vedant Kshatriya (AIR 4), Yash Jain (AIR 8), Yash Vashisth (AIR 15), Arpita Sharma (AIR 17) and Bhavik Sarda (AIR 49).

From Vadodara, Palash Mittal secured AIR 21 while Kushal Purohit  bagged the 50th spot. Surat students with exemplary results include Aakash Bothra (AIR 27), Nancy Jain (AIR 31), Anuj Mohta (AIR 35) and Parth Doshi (AIR 47).

Six students from Ahmedabad included in Top-50 in CA Intermediate.

All India Result of CA Final Course exam conducted in November 2022 is 11.09 percent, Group-1 21.39 percent and Group-2 18.61 percent. Ahmedabad center CA final exam result of both groups is 15.39 percent, group-1 17.27 percent and group-2 16.95 percent.

All India result of CA Intermediate course exam is 12.72 percent of both groups, 21.19 percent of Group-1 and 24.44 percent of Group-2. In Ahmedabad center result of CA intermediate course exam, the result of both groups is 20 percent, group-1 result is 17.17 percent and group-2 result is 36.13 percent. ICAI Ahmedabad classes have also got high results in CA intermediate course exam. Which includes 30.43 percent in both groups and 100 percent in Group-1, said CA Bishan Shah, Chairperson, Ahmedabad Chapter.

National toppers

Harsh Choudhary of New Delhi topped the CA final exams with 618 out of 800, Diksha Goyal of Karnal scored the highest CA Inter with 693 out of 800 marks.

A total of 1,00,265 candidates took CA Inter Group 1 exam of which 21,244 candidates passed the exam. Nearly 79,292 candidates appeared in Group 2 exam of which 19,380 candidates passed the exam.

The CA Final 2022 exams for November session were conducted from November 1 to November 7, 2022 and for Group 2 the exams were held from November 10 to November 16, 2022. The next CA exams will be held in May 2023. The exam dates for CA May 2023 will also be announced soon.

Candidates can check the results at the official site of ICAI: icai.org. 

“The exam structure was changed this year. We also made use of available technology to assist with correction. As such, results are being announced 20 days earlier than usual,” stated Aniket Talati, ICAI V-P.
