General Officer Commanding of 12 Corps Lieutenant General PS Minhas visited Shivneri Brigade and reviewed the operational readiness of the formation, says a Defence release.
He also inspected the Foreign Training Node infrastructure and was briefed on the modalities of conduct of forthcoming Foreign Training exercises. He interacted with troops and exhorted them to maintain high level of combat readiness.
He also complimented the formation for its efforts in recently concluded OP VARSHA 21 wherein 2,300 civilians were evacuated or provided with medical aid.
