With the Election Commission’s countdown for Gujarat Assembly polls has started, the Gujarat government has transferred 12 IPS officers on Wednesday.
Ahmedabad Zone Four PCP Mukesh Patel and Traffic GCP Ashwin Chauhan have also been transferred. All these transfers are considered to be electoral transfers. It is known that after these transfers, any other transfers will be made as directed by the Election Commission. In the transfer made today, a total of 12 IPSs of Gujarat have been transferred, including the IPS of Ahmedabad.
According to the list released by the Home Department, Ashwin Chauhan, the traffic police commissioner of Ahmedabad city, has been transferred to Karai Police Academy. While Zone Four DCP Mukesh Patel of Ahmedabad has been transferred and placed in CID crime. While in his place, Kanan Desai has been made Zone Four DCP directly from the Head Quarter.
NN Chaudhary has been made Traffic JCP of Ahmedabad from Karai Academy. Rajan Susra has been transferred from Zone One Surat to Marine Task Force Hazira. Usha Rada has been posted as Group 11 SRPF from Zone Three DCP Surat. Harshad Patel was in Ahmedabad Police Control Room, he has been posted in Police MT Department Gandhinagar.
Pinakin Parmar has been transferred from Marine Task Force and posted as Zone Three DCP Surat. Bhadresh Vaghela has been transferred from Vadodara Central Jail and posted as Traffic DCP, Ahmedabad. Hetal Patel has been transferred from SRPF Group 11 to Special Branch Surat.
Komal Vyas has been shifted from SRP Group Seven Kheda to Ahmedabad Police Control Room. Kanan Desai has been posted at Zone 4 in Ahmedabad and Ahmedabad Traffic TCP Bhakti Thakar has now been posted as Surat Zone 1 DCP.
