As many as 120 women participated in the “Sports Day” events organized by Sanvedan Club, an organization for welfare of housewives and working women. it was held at RMS Garden in Memnagar area of Ahmedabad. The event was specially organized by Gayatri Modi, the founder of Sanvedan Club.
In this sports day activities, women relived their childhood memories by participating in various games, including relay race, shot put, lemon-spoon, ball games, straw games, passing the ball.
Commenting on this, Gayatri Modi, founder of Sanvedan Club said, “I believe that a strong woman is an independent woman and our job is to define women’s role. Our motto is to empower and motivate them. Each programme is organized for their awareness with fun and enjoyment. This club is working for the empowerment and financial freedom of women. In this endeavour, we have started a business group. This club also organized various programmes for their awareness and to showcase their hidden talents.”
