The Shri Sankatmochan Mahavir Hanuman Neem Karoli Baba Temple at Rancharda, Ahmedabad, will host an entire day of spiritual celebrations on 28 November to mark the 125th Prakatotsav (appearance day) of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj. The temple—established through the divine grace of Baba—is preparing a devotional programme that blends bhakti, seva, and collective upliftment.
The day will open with a collective Hanuman Chalisa recitation by nearly 300 school students, followed by gift and chocolate distribution for young children. Throughout the day, the temple’s Ram Roti Seva Rath will serve fresh meals to people in need across different locations.

In the evening at 7:00 pm, devotees will gather for the 21-time Hanuman Chalisa path, soulful kirtans, a blanket distribution drive for the underprivileged, and the divine “Baba Ka Bhandara”, where prasad will be lovingly served to all.
Temple founder Dr Praveen Garg said the entire celebration is meant to bring the community together in devotion and service: “This Prakatotsav is not only a sacred celebration of Baba’s appearance but a heartfelt reminder that true worship lies in serving others. Everyone is welcome to join us, receive Baba’s blessings, and experience the deep peace and grace of Hanumanji and Neem Karoli Baba.”
He further noted that this temple is only the fourth in India to house a reclining (resting) idol of Hanumanji, offering devotees a rare and profound darshan of divine tranquillity.
