Zee TV fiction show Tujhse Hai Raabta has been winning everyone’s hearts due to its intriguing storyline and fantastic performances by its lead stars Reem Shaikh (Kalyani) and Sehban Azim (Malhar). KalMa, as they are fondly called, is one of the most loved jodis of Indian television. However, with the countrywide lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak, both the stars are away from the shoot and are staying at home. And it looks like they are making the most of their time at home! Little do people know that Sehban Azim has been brushing up his artistic skills during this phase of social distancing.
The Tujhse Hai Raabta actor decided to re-connect with his roots as he spends quality time at home. For the uninitiated, Sehban has always been very closely associated with art. While at home during the lockdown, he is trying to master the art of painting.
Talking about relearning the art form, Sehbaan Azim shared, “While spending time at home during this lockdown, I am learning how to paint from my brother who is a wonderful, professional artist. While I do miss the hustle and hectic schedules of daily shoots, I feel people tend to forget the simple joys of life, the things that they honestly enjoy doing. To be honest, on a regular day, I don’t even get time to pursue that. The world indeed needed a break and so did we, and sadly it had to come this way, but I hope everyone is doing something or the other that they truly enjoy and are taking care of themselves. I have worked on a few paintings already and will continue to paint throughout this phase of social distancing.”
Shedding further light on what he is up to during the lockdown, the actor added, “I am loving this phase and I wish to delve myself into writing too, it is something that I truly enjoy doing. It has always come naturally to me and it has been a while that I have not written something. I’m taking this opportunity to pen down a few things too. I dearly miss shooting for Tujhse Hai Raabta and all the fun we have on set, but currently staying indoors is the need of the hour and I urge everyone to stay home and stay safe.”
