Having presented successful ventures like Teekhi Meethi Life, Poori Paani, and Bhagwan Bachave, the makers – Valmiki Pictures, in their first-ever collaboration with Jaliyan Group, are presenting a unique Gujarati film, Get Set Go, based on cycle racing. The grand muhurat shooting of the film went on floors on Saturday with a traditional pooja ceremony at Snappers Film City in Ahmedabad.

The project, which promises a unique blend of adventure, comedy and cosmic chaos, is being helmed by a debutant director.
After two decades, Bollywood actor Deepak Tijori is set to make a comeback in this Gujarati Film.
Commenting on this, Deepak Tijori said, “Even though I was getting many offers from the Dhollywood during the last two decades, I was waiting for a good script. When I got this role, I grabbed it. Gujarati film industry is evolving in keeping with the global standards.”
Heartthrob of Gujarati films, Raunaq Kamdar, said, “The Gujarati film industry has seen tremendous growth in the last ten years. It has been churning out black-buster movies in the last five years. This is the golden period of Dhollywood.”
Writer-actor Jinal Belani said that the film will be shot in Ahmedabad and other picturesque places of Gujarat.
The film boasts a star-studded cast featuring Deepak Tijori, Bhaumik Sampat, Jhinal Belani, Raunaq Kamdar, Samvedna Suvalka, Om Bhatt, Sharad Sharma, Dharmendra Gohil, Bhavya Gandhi, Muni Jha, Bhavini Jani, Morli Patel, and Premal Yagnik.
At the Ahmedabad launch event, the main cast, including Deepak Tijori, Bhaumik Sampat, Jinal Belani, Raunaq Kamdar, Sanvedna Suvalka, and others graced the occasion and officially kickstarted this adventurous cinematic journey. A traditional puja was performed, and daring cycle stunts – reflecting the core theme of the movie – were showcased, leaving the audience in awe.
Such a magnificent muhurat event is perhaps a first for the Gujarati film industry. The story revolves around a group of six people that steals from the rich to help the poor – but with a twist. Their method of theft is unconventional, with bicycles playing a key role in their daring escapades.
The successful duo Bhaumik Sampat, Jinal Belani have penned the script and leaving the directorial role to an enterprising director of repute known for his innovation and out-of-the box thinking.
What happens next will be revealed as the release date nears. Only after its release will audiences get to experience the true essence of this high-energy adventure. With a mix of cycling, action, and heartfelt emotion, this multi-starrer film is expected to bring something refreshing and exciting to Gujarati cinema.
The spirited presence of the entire cast at the muhurat event reflected the team’s energy and confidence. Now, the audience eagerly awaits the release – because ‘Get Set Go’ is not just a film – it’s an electrifying journey that will touch your heart.
It’s not just about a race or cycling – it’s a story of courage, self-belief, and the fight for justice.
