Reliance Jio on Tuesday launched JioPC, a ground-breaking cloud-based virtual desktop platform for AI-ready and secure computing. With plans starting as low as Rs 400 per month and no lock-in, JioPC turns any screen into a full-fledged computer, requiring no costly hardware or upgrades, according to a statement.
JioPC marks a transformative leap in India’s digital journey as it has been designed to revolutionise computing in India with the first-ever pay-as-you-go model, with no lock-in and zero maintenance, Jio said in the statement.
“Get all the performance and features of a high-end PC worth at least Rs 50,000 without any upfront investment. With plans starting as low as Rs 400 per month and no lock-in, JioPC turns any screen into a full-fledged computer, requiring no costly hardware or upgrades. Just plug in, sign up, and start computing,” Jio said in the statement.
According to the statement, JioPC offers a cloud-powered, next-gen AI-ready PC experience that is:

- Fast and seamless, with instant boot-up and no lag
- Secure by design, with network-level protection from viruses and malware
- To access, just a Jio Set-Top Box, keyboard, mouse, and screen are required
