Come April 1, property prices will go up by 20 percent in Aapnu Amdavad due to skyrocketing prices of raw materials like cement, steel and bricks. However, GIHED CREDAI has announced on Wednesday that its members have decided to put on hold the price hike till March 31, 2022, say GIHED CREDAi office-bearers.
Stating that the booming Real Estate Infrastructure sector is a boon for buyers as well as developers, the 16th edition of Gujarat’s biggest property show, GIHED CREDAI Property Show, being held from Friday, March 11 to Sunday, March 13 offers the golden chance to buyers to book properties at existing prices, said Tejas C Joshi, president of CREDAI AHMEDABAD.

This annual flagship event, featuring over 250 RERA approved realty projects, including 200 residential projects, by more than 65 leading developers of Ahmedabad, is taking place at an ideal location – Ganesh Ground, SG Highway, Thaltej.
Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, Tejas C Joshi, said, “Being organised since 2005, the annual GIHED Property Show has become the premier event of the real estate sector in and around Ahmedabad, the 7th largest city in the country. “The GIHED Property Show offers buyers and investors multiple choices and is a great place to find a property that suits one’s budget and preference. We invite people of Ahmedabad to visit the show in large numbers to find their dream homes, offices and other properties,” said Viral Shah, honorary secretary, CREDAI AHMEDABAD.
Vice-President Dhruv N Patel said, “We comply with all safety norms and follow international standards. We urge the government to iron out the stringent fire safety norms like two stairs for small buildings as it is economically not viable and also occupies more land.”
Ahead of the Real Estate Urban Summit, realty porojects entailing an investment of over Rs 1 lakh crore have been uploaded on the Gujarat Government’s Vibrant Gujarat portal. This includes around 500 projects of Rs 60,000 crore from Ahmedabad City, AUDA and GUDA limits, and Rs 50,000 crore projects from other cities.
To fast-track the GDCR, revenue, and environmental clearances for these projects, CREDAI AHMEDABAD will appeal to the Chief Minster to form a panel comprising Officer on Special Duty Urban Development in the CMO, secretaries of urban development, revenue, and environment departments, Gujarat RERA Chairman, and reps of CREDAI-Ahmedabad GIHED and CREDAI-Gujarat.
“Faster approvals will increase the pace of development in Ahmedabad and other cities,” added Joshi.
