AHMEDABAD, MARCH 12
The 16th edition of Gujarat’s biggest property show ‘GIHED Property Show’, where more than 250 residential and commercial projects are on display, kicked off in Ahmedabad on Friday.
The GIHED Property Show was inaugurated by Sharvil Patel, MD, Zydus Lifesciences, and veteran real estate developers Anil Bakeri, Natwar Patel, Narendra Patel, Jayanti Patel, and Hasmukh Shah, who had laid the foundation of CREDAI-Ahmedabad more than four decades ago.
CREDAI-Ahmedabad is the largest association of real estate developers in Gujarat and represents more than 1,100 developers.
More than 250 residential, commercial, office space, plotting, and weekend villa projects across several locations and budgets by 65+ leading developers are on display at the annual property show, taking place at Ganesh Grounds, Thaltej, making it a great place to find the dream house or office that fits one’s budget and preference.
Manufacturers of steel, cement, and other raw materials have been increasing prices for one or the other reason in recent months. Labour costs have also increased, and collectively, the construction cost has gone up by 20-25%. Developers have borne the increased costs so far, but a price hike has now become inevitable.
16th edition of GIHED CREDAI’s 3-day property show commences tomorrow – Friday
“Those booking property in any of the 250 projects displayed at the GIHED Property Show will not have to bear the price hike. The show is the last chance to buy property before prices go up from next month. We appeal to people of Ahmedabad not to miss this golden opportunity,” said Tejas Joshi, President, CREDAI-Ahmedabad, adding they are expecting more than 1 lakh footfalls over the three days of the show.
“The 16th GIHED Property Show is a one-stop shop for buying property in and around Ahmedabad. All leading developers are displaying their projects at the show and it is a must-visit for anyone planning to buy property. We invite people of Ahmedabad to visit the show in large numbers to find their dream homes, offices, and other properties,” said Viral Shah, Honorary Secretary, CREDAI-Ahmedabad.
As a part of the property show, a Broker-Developer Meet has been organised at 11:00 am on March 12.
On March 13, a Real Estate Urban Summit has been organised, where Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be the chief guest. Revenue minister Rajendra Trivedi and minister of state for urban development Vinod Moradiya will be the guests of honour at the Urban Summit.
Being organised since 2005, the annual GIHED Property Show is the premier event of the real estate sector in and around Ahmedabad. The theme of the 16th edition is Boom, which signifies the jump in housing demand in the last couple of years, and the expected growth in the commercial sector in the next couple of years. Leading banks and housing finance companies are also taking part in the property show, which will culminate on March 13, Sunday.
