Season 3 of Gujarat Junior Golf Tour (GJGT) kicked off with 21 young champions teeing off at the Belvedere Golf & Country Club recently.
After months of lockdowns when everyone was forced to remain indoors, and with restrictions continuing on outdoor gatherings, the opportunity for the young golfers to let go of their weariness and to showcase their golfing skills came after a long time.
Master Shaan Amin was the winner in the Boys 13-14 age group, and Master Praneet Joshi the runner-up.
Master Neil Dave emerged winner in the Boys 12-11 age group, and Master Aryaman Magotra was the runner-up.
Master Adyant Singh got the better of Master Suhaan Shah, the player of the season in the first season of GJGT, in the 10-9 age group, while Master Amin and Master Aarnav Patel were the winners and runner up respectively in the 8-7 age group.
Among girls, Miss Mannat Sangar was the winner in the 15-18 age group, while Miss Ananya Kumar emerged winner in the 13-14 age group.
In the 12-11 age group, Miss Maahika Adhikari secured her win by winning the playoff against Miss Tvisha Patel, who ended as the runner-up.
Miss Ruvishka Chudasma secured the title as Player of the season 3, made a winning start in the 6-7 age group, the youngest category for girls.
