The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s Ahmedabad Branch has produced 29.83 percent results in the CA Foundation Course examinations held in June this year. This is higher than the all India result of 25.28 percent, said its office-bearers here on Wednesday.
Announcing the results with the media, CA Bishan Shah, Chairperson of Ahmedabad Branch of ICAI, said, “Out of the 2,360 students appeared for the Foundation Course from our branch, 704 have cleared it. Thus Ahmedabad Branch result is 29.83 percent against the national average of 25.28 percent. Of the 27 students underwent coaching for this with us, eight have cleared it. They are Shaikh Mohammadrahil H, Shah Dhwani Hiren, Dubey Hemaxi Vinitbhai, Jogi Nisha R, Prajapati Pyarelal Prahladbhai, Kathiriya Smit Gautambhai, Ansari Kaif A and Agarwal Krishna Jagdishbhai.”
ICAI Ahmedabad Branch had signed an MoU with Swaminarayan Vidyamandir Raysan Girls School in 2021 to impart a virtual coaching to 12 of its students. From this school, 4 students have appeared for the Foundation Course exam and only one has cleared it, said CA Bishan Shah.
ICAI Ahmedabad Branch secretary CA Neerav Agarwal, treasurer Samir Chaudhary and vice chairperson Dr Anjali Nirav Chokshi were present at the press meet.
In the results declared, 25.28 per cent students have passed the CA Foundation exam 2022. Male candidates have performed better with 25.52 per cent passing the exam while 24.99 per cent girl students have passed the exam. A total of 1,04,427 students were admitted to foundation course this year out of which 93,729 students appeared for the exams.
