City-based Adhiyamaan College of Engineering on Friday announced that the Institution of Engineers (India) Kolkata has honoured three of its faculty members with “Tech Samartin Award.” The awards were conferred on them in recognition of their contribution in combating COVID-19 pandemic on the occasions of 54th Engineers Day, says a release.
The awardees are Dr J Arivudainambi, Professor and Head, Department of Aeronautical Engineering; Dr V Manivasagan, Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology and Prof M Harishkumar, Programme Officer-National Service Scheme (NSS). The awards were given for their valuable Social and Engineering Professional Contribution in combating COVID-19 pandemic.
The awards were presented by Dr G Ranaganath, National Council Member IEI and Er.LKM Aadhi, Leading Industrialist in the presence of IEI Hosur Local Centre Chairman Dr T Menakadevi and Honorary Secretary Er P Murugesapandian and Dr K Ramalingam Chairman and Managing Director ISSO Jet PVT Ltd, Hosur during the 7th Annual General Meeting of the Institution of Engineers (India) Hosur Local Centre held recently.
