Third Year students of SSCIT and SIT departments of Swarrnim School of Engineering recently completed an advanced course outline on the Capstone Project. The project titled ‘Statistical modelling and predictive analytics, Internet of Things, Deep Learning and Computer Vision OpenVINO Toolkit, Industry Specific Module, Capstone Project’, was recently conducted at the Centre of Excellence of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University.
The event was sponsored by Code Unnati Programme, which is being implemented by a social enterprise – Edunet Foundation. The programme aligned with the Digital India and Skill India initiatives of the Government of India.
Some 20 students from the third year batch of Swarrnim School of Computing and Information Technology (SSCIT) and Swarrnim Institute of Technology (SIT) participated in the event. Dr Dulari Bhatt, an expert trainer with Edunet Foundation was the key speaker for the event.
Faculty coordinators, Professor Dipti Priyadarshini and Dr Chetan Gondaliya, facilitated the session.
The course was conducted in three phases: the first phase went on from January 29 to February 2, the second phase went on from April 1-5 and the third one began from April 8 and concluded on April 12.
With the culmination of three phases, students successfully completed the advance course outline. Over the 21 day-span of the session, students and the guest speaker engaged in insightful discussions about the capstone project, learnt about the employability skills and undertook hands-on learning sessions on cutting-edge technologies. The experience and knowledge gained by students during the programme will elevate their career prospects.
