Four members of the Rajasthani community were bestowed with the prestigious honours at the Rajasthan Shree Awards for excelling in social services and literature here on Sunday, January 21. The award function was held at the Music Academy and organised by Rajasthani Association of Tamilnadu.
The Award function started with the lighting of Kuthuvilakku by Chief Guest Dr. Narendrakumar A Baldota, Chairman & Managing Director, Baldota Group of Companies & Ex Chairman- JITO APEX and by the Guest of Honour Shri Arun Jain, Chairman & MD – Intellect Design Arena Ltd, Chairman & CEO – Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd.
President of the Association N Mohanlal Bajaj welcomed the chief guest and guest of honour, past presidents, special invitees and thanked all the members. He also congratulated the Rajasthan Shree Awardees and applauded their efforts to the society in various fields.
General Secretary Devraj Achha briefed about the activities of the Association while introduction of chief guest and guest of honour was rendered by audio visual presentation.
Chairman of the Awards Committee K Subhashchand Ranka delivered a key note address mentioning the details about the selection of awardees.
The Rajasthan Shree Award along with citation was conferred to the following persons
Gouri Shankar Rathi – Profession, Social Service
Mangal Chand Tater- Social Service
M Rikhabchand Bohra (Jain) – Social Service
Dr. Dileep Dhing – Literature
The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour were felicitated and honoured by presenting with special mementos.
Special thanks were given to Coordinator Chandra Prakash Malpani, Past Presidents who were involved in making the program a grand success. The President-Elect Praveen Kumar Tatia, Vice Presidents Narendra Srisrimal, Ajit Kumar Chordia, Vijay Goyal and Gyanchand Anchalia along with Treasurer Gouthamchand Daga were present in the Award function.
Joint Secretaries Ajay Nahar and Gyanchand Kothari rendered their efforts for success of the programme. Vote of Thanks was rendered by Praveen Kumar Tatia, President-Elect, Master of Ceremony was rendered by Priya Karnani.
