CHICAGO, USA, JULY 11
The 4th edition of Vadilal International Gujarati Film Festival was held at Chicago, USA on 7th to 9TH July hosted by Hi INDIA, Hemant Brahmbhatt & IGFF Founder Kaushal Acharya. The festival was attended by more than 3000+ audience with their overwhelming response.
Many dignitaries from Chicago and people from Gujarati film fraternity have also join the event with their remarkable presence, including Festival Jury Chairperson SJ Chiro, Jury members Gopi Desai, Jay Vasavada and Mayank Chaaya, Gujarati Film Industry’s heartthrob Malhar Thakar, Legendry Gujarati Singer Atul Purohit, Bollywood versatile actor Darshan Pandya, Gujarati Film Director Niraj Joshi, Film Producer Milap Singh Jadeja and Shourya Patel have joined the three-day festival.
On 9Tth July festival concluded with an award ceremony of the official selection films along with the cultural musical performance by Shree Atul Purohit, legendary Gujarati singer, followed by the gala cocktail dinner.
On this occasion, respected jury member Jay Vasavada spoke about the Gujarati film industry and its journey while Actor Malhar Thakar shared his views on Gujarati films, its content and culture. Through films younger generation can be attracted towards our glorious Gujarati culture, values, and language and for that IGFF is the platform where Gujarati culture is being celebrated every year through various Gujarati film screening.
