The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management (IITRAM) on Monday announced that five of its alumni have won the prestigious gold medals instituted by the Gujarat Institute of Civil Engineers and Architects (GICEA).
Three alumni from the recently graduated 2023 batch of Civil Engineering have been awarded the prestigious GICEA gold medals. They are Munish Kumar received CM Raval (C/O Raval and Raval)-GICEA Gold Medal for BTech Civil Engineering while Parmar Nilrajsinh Dharmendrasinh received RJD Buildcon Ltd – GICEA Gold Medal for MTech Civil Engineering (Urban Infrastructure) and Malvania Vatsal Rajendrakumar received Anjanaben Rajnikant Bhagatwala- GICEA Gold Medal for MTech Civil (Geotechnical Engineering).
IITRAM’s 2021 alumni Saumil Gandhi and Prithvi Bagul also received GICEA gold medals for their work at PDEU, Gandhinagar during MTech (Civil Infrastructure Engineering and Management) and MTech (Transportation Engineering).
Commenting on their feats, Prof BN Singh, Director-General, IITRAM, applauded the achievement of the students and stated, “I am immensely proud of the outstanding achievements of our alumni. These awards are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our students, reflecting the high standards of education and training provided at IITRAM. These accomplishments not only bring honor to our institution but also serve as a source of inspiration for current students.”
The Gujarat Institute of Civil Engineers and Architects (GICEA) is a non-government organization with a membership of more than 4,300 professionals comprising civil engineers, architects, builders, developers, town planners, valuers, structural engineers and contractors, either employed or self-employed.
